Devin Charles Powers passed away on November 28, 2021.

Devin was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on August 27, 1987, to Charles C. and Patricia H. Powers. Devin and his family spent summers in Creede, Colorado where they owned and operated Antlers Rio Grande Lodge. In 1998, he and his family moved to Creede permanently.

Devin grew up at the Antlers and attended the Creede School from 1998 on. He obtained a culinary arts Certificate from the Emily Griffith Technical Institute in Denver. He worked as a cook in Denver, Creede and the Wolf Creek Ski Resort. In 2019, he moved to Austin, Texas where he trained in counseling, and he worked as a cook and counselor at Roots Addiction Recovery Home. In 2021, he returned to his home at the Antlers in Creede, Colorado.

Devin was very musically inclined and was an accomplished guitarist, singer, and composer-lyricist. His philosophical folksy songs and soft melodic voice were known and loved by all who knew him.
