Edward Christopher Welling passed away due to cancer on Saturday May 20th at the age of 65. Known as Ted by his friends and family, his love of nature led to an adventurous lifestyle. He was an avid fly fisherman and known to many in Marble Canyon, AZ as a local fishing guide. He was interviewed by a National Fishing magazine for his expertise on developing the Zebra Midge fly.
For the past 9 years he lived in Del Norte, CO working at the Wolf Creek Ski resort, trading fishing for skiing the powdered slopes. Over his lifetime many were fortunate to call him their friend and knew how big his heart was. He leaves behind his significant other Gina Smith, his daughter Elizabeth Bullard, his 3 siblings Mary, Joe, and Greg Welling and many friends and acquaintances. Although gone physically from this world, he will never be forgotten.
Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held at Marble Canyon AZ. Date and time will be announced at a later date.
