Dana Dawn Lawson

Dana Lawson, age 47, of Creede, Colorado, passed away on October 3, 2024. She was born on August 27, 1977, to parents Carl David Lawson and Benita Louise Cain.

Dana had a passion for cross stitching, puzzles, and learning new things such as sewing. She loved spending time outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Dana cherished moments with her family and friends, making memories that will be treasured forever.

Although Dana did not have any children of her own, she was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend to many. She is survived by her mother Benita Cain, her brothers Jeffrey D. Lawson and Keith O. Lawson, as well as her sister Tabitha M. Salazar.

Dana is preceded in death by her father Carl David Lawson.

Cremation was chosen and Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 07, 2025, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm to be held at the Creede Community Church located on 410 S. Main St in Creede, Colorado.

Her kind spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
