Peter Rolston Cyr-Vigil 19, Monte Vista, CO passed away at home on October 7, 2020. He was born on December 10, 2000 to Robert Lewis Cyr Jr. and Pamela Ann Wright in Monte Vista, CO.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cyr Jr., and Grandfather Ricky Vigil. He is survived by his mother, Pamela Vigil and Dad Antonio Vigil, sisters Lura E Vigil, Jessica Vigil and Arika Cyn, Brother Bobby Cyn, Fiancé Mary Rogers, Grandparents Jim and Mary Wright, Lillian Martinez, Anthony “Slick” Martinez, Bob Cyn Sr., Aunts and Uncles Crystal Vigil, Jamie Frank, Cassandra Vigil, Dominic Benevidas, Michelle Vigil, Wendy Cyn, Suzi and Tom Inman, Gerald and Brenda Hammer, Lura and Rick Chavez, Pat, Ronnie, Jessie, Manual, Kenneth, Marie, Kathy, Diane Vigil, and Debbie and Byron Daly; Cousins Gilbert Vigil, Danni Wright, Emily Bracy, Daniel Vigil, Amanda and Pablo Vigil, Tristan, Anhelica, and Donavan Sandoval, Ava and Josette Avila, and so many more.
Peter loved music, fishing, camping, traveling, photography, writing and drawing. He was always putting everyone else before himself. He was a true friend to everyone he knew.
His adventurous spirit lead him to many people and places. He loved his family unconditionally. He had a special bond with his sister, Lura. He was always there for her, even when it took away from what he wanted to do. He never denied her anything.
He always made others smile. He never wanted anyone to do without. He was the person who would carry in someone’s groceries, clean their yard, and even take out their trash, just because he could. He was always a real gentleman. He will be remembered for his kindness, thoughtfulness, adventurous, quirky, generous, and lust for life.
Peter left an impression on all who knew him. He will be truly missed.
Cremation was chosen and a Rosary will be held at Strohmayer’s Funeral Home Thursday October 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service will be held Friday October 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Alamosa Seventh Day Adventist Church at 313 Craft Drive, following will be the Burial at Rock Creek Cemetery, Monte Vista, CO at 12:00 p.m.
