Nathan Andrew Dick, 46, died May 26, 2020 in Del Norte, Colorado. Nathan was born November 7, 1973, in Garden City, Kansas.
Nathan is survived by his mother, Beth Krug, and stepfather, Wilmer Krug of Russell, Kansas, his brother, Michael Dick of South Fork, Colorado, and his three beautiful children, Marli, Creedence, and Elijah Dick of Alamosa, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip R. Dick.
He was raised in Garden City, Kansas before moving away to college. In 2002, Nathan moved to South Fork, Colorado. He finished his schooling at Adams State College, where he earned two master’s degrees in pottery and education. He soon began his teaching career in Tohatchi, NM, and later returned to Alamosa where he continued to teach. Nate enjoyed art, pottery, rock hounding, fishing, golf, and dogs, but nothing compared to the love he had for his three children.
A family service will be held on June 10, 2020, 11:00 am at Strohmayer’s Funeral Home, followed by a graveside visitation. The family will accept visitors from 2:00-4:00 pm, at the South Fork Cemetery. The address is 25135 W. Hwy 160 South Fork, CO 81154.
