Angel Victoria Martinez
Monte Vista resident Angel Victoria Salazar-Navarez 23, left to be with the Lord May 21, 2021. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and her best friend to the end Chicko. Angel was born in Denver Colorado on April 16, 1998, to Angelica Salazar and Felipe Navarez.
Angel will always be remembered for her outgoing personality and her loving, compassionate nature. She enjoyed listening to music, camping, shooting and target practice. Above all she loved the time she spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her Parents, Grandparents; Esther Carreno and Diana Salazar, Sisters; Lucia and Marissa Martinez, Brothers; Reyes Nevarez and Felipe Jr., her Nina and Auntie Eva, her favorite Uncle Robert Salazar, all of Monte Vista, Colorado, as well as her little cousins whom she loved dearly and many other Aunts, Uncles and Friends.
She was preceded in death by her Grandfathers; Ventura Nevarez and Timothy Rodriguez, Grandmother; Maria Vickie Salazar and Uncle John Salazar.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 @ 1:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph’s Church in Monte Vista, Colorado. Interment will follow at the Worker’s Union Cemetery.
