Rheda J Meadows, 69, of Lamar Colorado, passed away on March 2, 2020 in Longmont, Colorado.

Rheda was born in Lamar Colorado to Urvin and Bonnie Brooks on March 23, 1950. She went to school at Lamar High School. She married Jan E Meadows on May 18th, 1980 in Del Norte, Colorado. She graduated from Adams State University with a Master's degree in Education. She worked as a special education teacher for 28 years.

Rheda is survived by her sons, Billy Lankford, Brian Lankford and his wife, Robin, Brandon Meadows and his wife, Julie, Brooks Meadows and his wife, Megan, her brother, Tony Brooks, her sister, Vickie Kelley, her father in law, Jim Meadows and her grandchildren, Savannah Lankford, Anderson Lankford, Brylie Lankford, Blakely Lankford, Lex Meadows, Leelou Meadows, Easton Meadows and Landon Meadows.

Rheda is preceded in death by Nellie Fowler, Urvin and Bonnie Brooks, Cindy McCormick, and Jan E. Meadows.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, March 5th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 425 Batterson Street, Monte Vista, Colorado. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Brooks, Billy Lankford, Brian Lankford, Brandon Meadows and Brooks Meadows.
