Sunday, January 5, 2020, Lyle Joseph VenRooy, age 66  died in his home in Del Norte, CO.

Lyle was born in Colby, WI. He served in the US Army, and spent most of his life as a bulldozer operator. He may be best known for cruising the San Luis Valley in his sparkly blue '56 Chevy, his love of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and his daily visits to the Del Norte cafe.

Lyle was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn and his father Harold. He is survived by his daughters Laura and Michelle, son-in-law Dylan Baker, grandson Ryker, and ex-wife Barbara, as well as siblings, nieces, and nephews.
