Lavada Katheryn Finley (Meyer), 85, passed away on January 14, 2020, in Denver, CO. She was born November 25, 1934, in Trenton, Nebraska to Otto John Meyer and Aurelia Hartman. She graduated from Paonia High School and was a long-time resident of the San Luis Valley.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Ladies Red Hat Club. She served for several years on the Tri-County Health Board.

She is survived by 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Cremation was chosen, and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
