Kenneth Powell of Monte Vista, Colorado,  passed away on July 18, 2025.He was born on March 21, 1941, to Claude A. Powell and Jessie Virginia Burch in Saguache, Colorado.

Kenneth was a skilled welder by profession, but his true passions in life lay elsewhere. He had a knack for fixing clocks, a talent he inherited from his father. He would spend hours tinkering with old timepieces, bringing them back to life with his skilled hands.

In addition to his love for clocks, Kenneth was an avid hunter. He would spend weekends out in the wilderness,

enjoying the solitude of nature. He also had a talent for restoring old wooden furniture.

He is predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Cleo Marie (Slane) Powell, and his son Donald Clayton Powell.

Cremation was chosen and a graveside service will take place on Thursday, August 07, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillside Cemetery in Saguache, Colorado.

Kenneth will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering dedication to his family. He was a loving partner, father, and friend, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
