Gilbert Molina 48, passed away on October 20, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Monte Vista, Co on July 9, 1975, to Patricia and Simon Chavira. He grew up in the town of Center, he then moved to Monte Vista and resided there ever since.

He enjoyed going to the mountains, fishing, raising his pit bulls, but most of all spending time with his family.

Gilbert is survived by his loving wife Alice Molina of almost 18 years and his 6 children: Ariana (Lupe) Salazar, Derick Molina, Gianna (Carlos) Molina, Mikaela Molina, Moriah Molina, Marianna Molina, and his two grandchildren, Layla and Landyn Salazar. He was survived by 4 sisters and 5 brothers and several nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his nephew Dominic Garcia, uncles Jake and Henry Gonzales, and his grandparents Lucy and Joe Gonzales.

A funeral service is scheduled on Thursday October 26, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the United Latin American Pentecostal Church located at 907 10th St Alamosa, Co 81101
