Obituary

Eugene LeBlanc of Center, Colorado, passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born on June 28, 1963, to Mary LeBlanc in Monte Vista, Colorado. Geno was a beloved son, husband, a loving father figure, and role model to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Marcella Garcia-LeBlanc, his children Shaneen Garcia, Marcus LeBlanc, and Thia Garcia (Isidro Jr. Garcia) and his wonderful grandchildren. Shaniya Trujillo, Jordan Aguilar, Jazliin Garcia, Jaliisah Aguilar, and Uriah Garcia. As well as sisters Elizabeth LeBlanc and Roberta LeBlanc.

Geno was preceded in death by his mother Mary LeBlanc and one daughter Amy LeBlanc.

Geno had many hobbies that brought him joy, including fishing, cooking, lottery/gambling, coin collecting, spending time with family, and reading his Bible. He also had a passion for classic trucks, muscle cars, and his sweet treats. He was an avid sports fan of the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Avalanche.

Geno was a kind, generous, funny, hardworking, humble, God-fearing man, who knew no stranger. Time spent with him brought loads of laughter, love and life! He took pride in his work, family, trucks, and pets. His presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on through those who knew and loved him!

The family has chosen cremation, and a Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, November 09, 2024, at 1:00 pm to be held at the River of Life Church located on 2602 Clark St. in Alamosa, Colorado. A meal to honor Geno will follow the church service. Memorial Contributions/Offerings/flowers can be made to River of Life.
