Betty Jo Coronado, 82, of Monte Vista, Colorado passed from this life into eternal

life on the evening of May 13, 2020 in Del Norte, Colorado at Rio Grande Hospital. She

was born October 13, 1937 in Taos, New Mexico, to Samuel Crawford and Jenny

Martinez.

Betty was a long time, resident to Monte Vista, where she enjoyed gardening, babysitting, going to church, working on jigsaw puzzles, word search puzzles, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by her husband, Jose Coronado; brother, Patrick Crawford; daughter Joy

(Eduardo) Rascon, and granddaughter, Marianita (Ruben) Hernandez.

Betty is also survived by her other children; Olivama (Charles) Nixon, Toni Lee (Ramon)

Palma, Samuel (Joann) Valdez, Jenny Annette Valdez, Betty Jean Velasquez, Fay Helen

(Alfredo) Martinez, and Joseph (Lorena) Coronado. Her siblings; Bill Crawford, Litabell

Vigil, Frances Lewis, and Mike (Carol) Crawford, and her many brothers and sisters-in-law. Along with her 17 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great

grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, grandsons, Eduardo N. Rascon, Samuel Valdez Jr, Daniel Sanchez, Mother-in-Law, Tanislada Coronado, great-grandson, Christopher Santiago de Jesus, her grandchildren, Billy, and Natasha Archuleta, her daughter, MaryAnne Valdez, and her brother, Samuel Crawford Jr.

Betty was very loved and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at a later date. The

family will reach out when a date has been set.
